This position is a COMMUNITY position and is NOT part of Alberta Health Services. Job Description: Physicians are expected to provide comprehensive primary care services to individuals of all ages, including children, adults, and elderly. You are expected to integrate as part of our team and work alongside other primary care network staff and provide preventive care measures not limited to vaccinations and regular health screenings. Physicians are expected to take care over current existing panel of patients who have no assigned doctor. Physicians will practice independently but will have extensive support from the existing family physicians in the clinic when required.
Qualifications: The successful candidate must have CPSA eligibility letter for general practitioner. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, however, Canadian citizens and permanent residents will be given priority. Community Information: We are a team of 6 physicians with 5 Family Doctors and one Psychiatrist. Our clinic is new ( less than 5 years) with modern equipment and with spacious rooms. Each physician will have their own private office and 2 exam rooms. The clinic is centrally located and well connected through the newly constructed ring road in Calgary.
