The Zone Clinical Section Chief Addiction and Mental Health, is a Medical Leadership role governed by the Medical Staff Rules and is responsible for overseeing clinical operations and reports to the Senior Health Director, Recovery Alberta Mental Health and Addiction. This position includes the following specific deliverables:ยท - AHS Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules - Medical Leadership Professional Development and Education - People management - Relationship Management - Strategic Planning - Clinical and Operational Leadership - Accreditation, Quality Improvement and Research - Committees - All other duties as assigned and agreed upon with the Senior Medical Director, Recovery Alberta - South Zone.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated abilities in communication, conflict resolution and have a passion for quality and patient safety. The successful applicant will also be committed to fulfilling clinical and non-clinical duties as a representative of the Department Section.
