Salary Range: $280,000 - $450,000 annually (based on SOMB data and the new PCCCM model) Our practice utilizes the Primary Care Physician Compensation Model (PCPCM), Alberta's innovative blended payment system that provides: - Base panel payments with complexity adjustments. This is the Base Patient Panel Payments where physicians receive capitation payments for maintaining panels of 500+ patients, which our clinic is currently operating as per AMA recommendation - Enhanced access and after-hours compensation - Quality improvement incentives - Predictable income with performance bonuses COMPENSATION HIGHLIGHTS: - Competitive earnings exceeding traditional fee-for-service models - Panel-based payments supporting comprehensive care delivery - Additional compensation for extended hours and enhanced access - Support for team-based care coordination activities PRACTICE SUPPORT: - Comprehensive benefits package available - Professional development funding - EMR system and administrative support provided - Marketing and patient acquisition support - Potential AHS facility privilege opportunities for additional income OVERHEAD STRUCTURE: Overhead arrangements, including facilities, staffing, and operational costs, will be discussed in detail with candidates during the interview process.
