Description: Full time rural family physician for the community of Lamont. Duties will include community clinic, ER Shifts including on call, management of acute care patients and long-term care patients (site of 54 beds). This physician will also be expected to assist in the OR as needed. Physicians in Lamont cover towns of Mundare and Bruderheim. Qualifications: - All physicians who wish to practice in Alberta must hold a valid and relevant license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta - Certificate of the College of Family Physicians (CCFP) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Desired - Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) - MOREOB/Advances in Labour and Risk Management (ALARM) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
Compensation: This Position is Fee For Service On Call Stipend – Physicians are remunerated for being on call. Alberta Medical Association (AMA) Compensation Programs – AMA Membership compensation programs are under review and may be subject to change.
