Job Description: We are seeking a licensed or eligible General Practitioner (Family Physician) to join our established and growing clinic in Alberta. This position is open to candidates requiring employer sponsorship and support through the applicable provincial and federal pathways. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and chronic disease management for a diverse patient population. The physician will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment, supported by administrative and clinical staff, and will have access to modern EMR systems and operational infrastructure. Responsibilities include: - Providing longitudinal primary care to patients across the lifespan - Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions - Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests - Prescribing medications and treatments in accordance with best practices - Maintaining accurate and timely medical records - Participating in continuity of care and follow-up We offer a supportive practice environment, flexible scheduling, and administrative assistance to enable physicians to focus on delivering high-quality care. Qualifications: - Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA - Medical degree with completion of residency in Family Medicine or equivalent - Eligibility for participation in relevant sponsorship or assessment pathways (e.g., PRA, supervision, or other applicable programs) - Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care
Fee-for-Service Billings): Physicians can expect $300,000 to $600,000+ in annual gross billings, consistent with Alberta Health SOMB data, with upside dependent on practice style, panel size, and service mix. Note: This is a fee-for-service environment. Net income is influenced by overhead structure and operational model, which will be transparently reviewed with candidates during the interview process.
