Job Description: Provides comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to individuals and families across all ages. The role includes diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, delivering preventive care, and promoting overall health and wellness. Physicians work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, coordinate care with specialists and community services, and ensure continuity of care. Requires a medical degree, family medicine certification, and licensure, along with strong clinical, communication, and patient-focused skills.
Qualifications: Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA Medical degree (MD or equivalent) Certification in Family Medicine (CFPC or equivalent) Licensure (or eligibility) with the appropriate regulatory body (CPSA) Valid professional liability coverage (CMPA) Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills Commitment to patient-centered, culturally safe care Ability to work effectively in team-based, community settings Recruiting Organization: Community Clinic Sponsorship Eligible: Yes Assets: experience in rural/underserved areas, additional scope (e.g., emergency, obstetrics), and multilingual abilities.
Compensation: The salary range is based on the Fee-For-Service (FFS) earnings, as per the Schedule of Medical Benefits (SOMB) information published by Alberta Health Salary range of $250,000-$400,000 per annum depending on the service volume and patient load. Note: The overhead structure will be discussed with the candidates who are interviewed.
