Job Description: Skin Physicians is a leading referral-based multidisciplinary clinic in southwest Edmonton focused on medical dermatology, hair restoration, cosmetic concerns, and comprehensive, evidence-based patient care for all age groups. Supported by an experienced clinical team, modern equipment, strong administrative resources, and a large network of professionals in healthcare, the clinic emphasizes thoughtful diagnosis, individualized treatment planning, coordinated care, ongoing staff development, and excellent patient experiences. We are seeking a dedicated Dermatologist for a long-term role alongside the Medical Director, offering exposure to a broad range of conditions and treatments in a supportive, fast-paced environment; qualified new graduates, residents, and experienced dermatologists are welcome, with the ideal candidate demonstrating strong clinical judgment, professionalism, communication skills, self-motivation, and a patient-focused commitment to high-quality care. • Provide high-quality, patient-centred dermatologic care by assessing, diagnosing, and managing conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails. • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans, prescribe appropriate therapies, and perform or arrange diagnostic, procedural, and surgical treatments within scope of practice. • Monitor outcomes, deliver follow-up care and patient education, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with referring providers. • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, coordinate specialist referrals, follow regulatory and infection-prevention standards, and maintain current knowledge through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications: - Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA. - Certification in Dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC), or equivalent specialist training and certification acceptable for Alberta practice eligibility. - Commitment to high standards of patient safety, professionalism, ethical practice, and quality of care. - New graduates, resident physicians, and experienced dermatologists are welcome to apply, provided practice eligibility requirements are met. - Preference will be given to Canadians and Permanent Residents of Canada.
Fee for service compensation. Competitive salary and benefits package. The overhead structure will be discussed with the candidates who are interviewed.
